Spring-Loaded or Non-Spring-Loaded: Some high-pressure rotary shaft seals are spring-loaded, meaning they have a spring mechanism that exerts pressure on the lip against the shaft, enhancing the sealing action. Non-spring-loaded seals rely on the pressure difference across the seal to maintain the seal.
