SKF V-ring seals are all-rubber axial shaft seals that rotate with the shaft and seal against a stationary counterface. They primarily act as excluders—keeping dust, water, and other contaminants out—while helping retain oil or grease with very low friction. Their elastic lip provides automatic wear compensation and tolerates misalignment and runout, making them easy to install and reliable over long service intervals.
