SKF Viton (FKM) oil seals are premium fluoroelastomer radial shaft seals engineered for high temperatures and chemically aggressive media. The FKM compound offers outstanding resistance to hot oils, fuels (including biodiesel blends), many solvents and chemicals, plus excellent ozone and weathering durability with low compression set. Typical operating range is about −20 °C to +200 °C (short peaks up to ~+230 °C, depending on grade/design). Available in single- or double-lip configurations with a garter spring, these seals deliver stable, low-friction sealing to reduce leakage and extend service life in gearboxes, pumps, electric motors, automotive powertrains, and process equipment.
