SKF Wave seals are radial shaft seals with a proprietary “wave” lip geometry that creates a gentle hydrodynamic pumping action. This returns lubricant to the system and helps exclude dust, water, and debris—reducing friction, heat, and wear at higher shaft speeds. Available as metal-cased single-lip (e.g., CRW1) and double-lip (CRWA1) versions with a garter spring, in NBR or FKM compounds, they’re used in gearboxes, electric motors, pumps, and general industrial drives.
